The concept
of metamorphose applies to Validation Specialist, AnnaMaria Lambidis’s career. For the past 15 years, her career has focused
on consulting, fostering orderly change in her clients. AnnaMaria began honing her skills at BASF, as
a research chemist but quickly took on additional responsibilities, which lead
into her consulting career.
“In nature, metamorphoses are constantly
occurring, but the outcome of these transformations is always predictable. I seek to provide strategic services to guide
organizations in implementing projects, policies, and procedures that
standardize project delivery and promote alignment of corporate IT with the
larger global organization. The end result of my efforts, are projects
that are iterative and thus predictable, just like the experiments I initially
participated in as a chemist”.
Typical project roles have been as a project manager, liaison
between business units and corporate IT and as technical writer. The vast majority of projects have been
associated with the scientific laboratories or record management departments of
leading companies such as BASF, General Motors, and Abbott Laboratories. Typical
project size is $3 Million. Representative
deliverables have included
:
- 21 CFR part 11
- ISO documentation, including quality manuals
- Proposal writing
- Laboratory testing protocols
- Software validation
- On-line software manuals and end-user training
- Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
While working at Abbott
Laboratories, AnnaMaria’s high quality deliverables caught the attention of
Metamorphose Consulting’s President, Carol Killeen; thus began a successful working
partnership that is now over 3 years old.
